Lang Michener Welcomes Three New Lawyers

Alistair Taylor has joined the Lang Michener Litigation Group in the Vancouver office as an associate counsel. Al has been practicing law since 1979 when he was admitted to the Bar in Alberta. He relocated to British Columbia in 2008 and has been a member of the BC Bar since that time. Al was President of Abode Mortgage Corporation before joining Lang Michener, and has had significant experience handling residential foreclosures for a major Canadian financial institution. Alistair practices in the area of litigation and mortgage foreclosures.

Lisa Fang has joined the Venture Capital Group as an associate in the Vancouver office. Lisa was a summer student and an articling student with Lang Michener, and law clerked with the Tax Court of Canada. She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2009 and joined Lang Michener in the fall of 2009. Lisa was admitted to the B.C. Bar in October, 2009. Also, Erica Weiss has joined the Securities Group as an associate in the Vancouver office. Erica articled with Lang Michener last year and was called to the BC Bar in 2009.

All three additions are seen as a further strengthening of an already deep talent pool in the Vancouver office of Lang Michener.
