Practice Background
Siobhán is an associate in the Transportation and Competition & Trade groups of the firm's Vancouver office. Siobhán's practice focuses primarily on railway rate and service negotiations, regulatory proceedings (before the Canadian Transportation Agency), project management and corporate and commercial transactions. In this capacity she assists senior counsel in representing many of the largest shippers and rail users in their dealings with Canadian Pacific Railway, Canadian National Railway, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Company and Union Pacific Railroad and has gained significant experience in final offer arbitrations under the Canada Transportation Act and in the negotiating and drafting of large-scale commercial agreements for users of rail infrastructure. In addition to railway work, Siobhán has also acted for shippers in their dealings with port and terminal facilities across Canada, including the drafting of terminal services agreements.
Siobhán also serves as counsel to Dress for Success Vancouver (a charitable organization that provides professional attire and career counselling services to low income women looking to enter the workforce) on a pro bono basis.
