Professional Experience Marie is an associate in the firm's Corporate Commercial and Securities and Public Markets Groups. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities and commercial law matters. While articling with McMillan, Marie participated in a secondment to the legal department of Royal Bank of Canada for three months.

Marie joined McMillan as an associate after summering and articling with the firm.

Academic Achievements

Marie obtained her LLB from the University of Western Ontario where she was awarded the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt Prize in Corporate/Commercial Law, the Insolvency Institute of Canada Law Student Writing Award, the Canvasback Publishing Prize in Administrative Law and the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP Award in Administrative Law.
