Katherine Reilly is a senior associate in the firm's Advocacy and Litigation Group where she concentrates her practice on complex commercial disputes with a special interest in matters related to gaming, business disputes, land disputes and securities litigation. Katherine also has experience handling estate litigation and business successorship issues, where she has acted on behalf of executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and excluded parties.

Katherine is an experienced trial lawyer who has appeared at all levels of courts in British Columbia including as trial counsel in a number of Supreme Court trials. Most recently she has appeared as counsel in a commercial dispute between a major office products supplier and a sports franchise relating to commercial sponsorship issues. She has also defended the interests of a gaming company in connection with complex and novel regulatory and public law issues. Katherine regularly appears in Supreme Court Chambers on contested and uncontested matters including shareholder matters, proxy battles, plans of arrangement and procedural matters related to civil claims.

In her litigation practice Katherine is well regarded for her practical, results-oriented approach, as well as her attention to detail and her negotiation skills. She has successfully resolved numerous disputes on behalf of clients outside the court system using mediation and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
