Professional Experience Joanna is an associate in the firm's Technology and Intellectual Property Group. Her practice encompasses all areas of intellectual property law, including copyright, trade mark and patent litigation, as well as prosecuting and enforcing trade marks and patents.

Joanna summered with the firm in 2009 and returned to complete her articles in 2011. At McMillan she acquired valuable experience by assisting in a wide variety of files, including copyright disputes, trade mark opposition proceedings, patent litigation and complex commercial litigation matters.

While attending law school, Joanna participated in the Harold G. Fox IP Moot where she achieved second place in the competition.
