Alex Ilchenko joined the Banking & Restructuring Law Group in the Toronto office of the firm in May 2008. Alex has over 18 years of experience and practises exclusively in insolvency and related commercial litigation, with an emphasis on secured and unsecured creditor remedies, commercial bankruptcy, receiverships and commercial restructurings and representing receivers, trustees and court appointed monitors.

Alex has written extensively on various matters in the areas of insolvency and environmental law.

Alex has also served as a debtor and creditor law instructor for the Ontario Bar Admissions Course, and has served on the oral examining board established by the Superintendent of Bankruptcy for the Licensing of Trustees in Bankruptcy.

Alex is heavily involved in the Ukrainian community and is a past Director of the Ukrainian Canadian Professional & Business Association in Toronto.
